Search Partner (Originator)
You open companies that need a product hire and get a Talent Search MSA signed. PLA places the people. Danny runs the farm. You do not get a stack of inbound PLA leads to “work.” If you cannot get a hiring manager on a first call from your own book, this seat is empty.
This week
- Name 15 hiring managers who already take your call. Open three of them on a live PM req.
- Sell Talent Search: PLA runs the search, proof cards, confirmed interest, intro on PLA.
- Get the MSA signed. Hand the brief to Danny. Stay on the company until the hire starts.
- Commission on originated fills after PLA collects. Clawback matches the replacement window.
Not this
- Not the $99 Recruiter desk. That is in-house TA hiring into their own company.
- Not the $149 partner recruiter session. Different product.
- Not submitting candidates as a staffing firm on our bench. Terms already ban that.
- Not closing Oscar’s inbound. Those accounts are PLA’s.
Apply with LinkedIn, five companies you would open in the next 30 days and why, and the first three touches on one of them. No generic cover letter.

Talent Partner
You sit with Danny on Talent Search delivery. Originators bring the company. You make the bench true: opted-in PMs who showed the work, want this brief, and will take an intro on PLA. If the bench is thin, you source outside and put them on a proof card first. You do not hunt logos.
This week
- Read the MSA brief. Shortlist from opted-in members with proof cards, not a LinkedIn scrape.
- Confirm they want this role before anyone intros. Identification stays PLA-logged.
- Prep the packet Danny walks into the company with. Names, proof, salary band, notice period.
- When the bench is thin, source. New people join PLA free and get a proof card before they are submitted.
Not this
- Not opening accounts. That is Search Partner.
- Not a named-seat desk license to run your own agency book.
- Not blasting members off-platform. Contact stays on PLA unless they set visibility to public.
Apply with LinkedIn and eight PMs (anonymized is fine) you would put on a proof card for a Senior PM, B2B SaaS, remote req — and the one sentence that would make Danny send each of them.

Marketing Lead
PLA already has a voice: forest, paper, Montserrat, proof over slogans. You own the public story so Talent Search, the Recruiter desk, and the free curriculum do not collapse into one “jobs company.” You write and ship. You do not hire an agency to sound like every other edtech.
This week
- Weekly PM-only LinkedIn digest to live /jobs URLs. Cadence is the product. Not a daily dump of every remote role.
- Keep Recruiter vs Talent Search distinct in every surface: seat vs we-run-the-search.
- Lead magnets, site copy, and partner briefs that a hiring manager can finish. No “unlock,” no “seamless.”
- Measure replies, applications, and Talent Search calls — not impressions.
Not this
- Not a carousel factory. Not Inter-on-white. Not publishing 8% or invented hire stats.
- Not growth-hacking the community into a lead list for originators.
Apply with three URLs you wrote or shipped, and a rewrite of this page’s hero in PLA’s voice — shorter, not softer.

Mentor
Seasoned product leaders who want to teach. You guide members through the work, host live sessions we produce, and write under your name on channels we already run. The return is public credibility and the craft of leading other PMs — not a stipend.
This month
- Coach members on proof: case studies, proof cards, the brief they can defend in a room.
- Live session trainings we support — calendar, page, recording, distribution.
- Author a piece we carry: site, LinkedIn digest, newsletter. Your byline. Our list.
- Learn to teach. Calibration with Oscar. The community of practice is the product.
Not this
- Not a 1099 seat. Not commission. Not employment.
- Not paid 1:1 sessions. That is Partner Coach— different agreement, Stripe payout.
- Not a guest post mill. If you will not get on a live session, do not apply.
Apply on the About page. LinkedIn, what you would teach in 45 minutes, and one piece you have already published.
PM roles at other companies stay on /jobs.
