About Us:
STACK is a leading provider of cloud-based construction estimating and takeoff software solutions, committed to helping businesses transform through innovative solutions. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative, dynamic environment where team members have the opportunity to grow and make a real impact.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Principal Product Manager with strong experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG) and AI-driven product experience. Product Managers at Stack work closely with engineering, focusing on the product systems and experiences that help more people discover, adopt, and get lasting value from Stack. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, the ability to envision innovative technology, and a willingness to reimagine work to be more efficient and creative. Ideal candidates combine product intuition with analytical rigor.
This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and AI. You’ll define how our platform connects with key systems (ERPs, partners, and emerging AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude) to drive activation, adoption, and long-term customer value. You will have end-to-end ownership of integrations, from strategy and roadmap through execution and iteration.
You will play a critical role in shaping how our product evolves in an increasingly AI-driven world. We operate in a fast-moving environment and expect our PMs to actively use AI in their day-to-day work to move faster, make better decisions, and keep pace with engineering.
What You'll Do:
- •Drive activation, repeat usage, and paid conversion across web, mobile, and desktop.
- •Build and iterate the levers that move them: upsells, onboarding, upgrade flows, lifecycle, and design new agent-driven growth loops.
- •Grow adoption of new products and cross-platform conversion: identify the optimal set of users, surfaces, and moments to introduce them, and drive repeat usage.
- •Ship a high volume of experiments, from hypothesis and metric design through analysis, and turn the learnings into roadmap bets that grow our metrics.
- •Analyze funnels, cohorts, and segments to find the highest-leverage opportunities and define the metrics behind them.
- •Protect product quality while improving conversion, holding guardrails on retention, support volume, and margin.
- •Write crisp specs and experiment briefs and drive execution across engineering, design, data, and marketing.
- •Continuously iterate using experimentation and customer feedback
What You Bring:
- •8+ years experience working in product management within a PLG or growth-focused environment
- •Strong construction domain knowledge or experience working in construction technology
- •Strong track record of shipping and iterating on product features tied to adoption or growth
- •Demonstrated ability to use AI tools in day-to-day product work
- •Bachelor’s degree required
Who You Are:
- •A product leader who takes ownership and drives outcomes, not just roadmap
- •Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from zero to one
- •Highly collaborative, with strong communication across technical and non-technical teams
- •Passionate about building products that solve real customer problems
- •Energized by fast-paced, high-impact environments
Why This Role:
- •Own a critical growth lever for the business
- •High visibility and impact across product and leadership
- •Opportunity to shape how our platform integrates with the next generation of AI tools and workflows
- •Work in a team that values speed, ownership, and modern product practices
How We Work (AI-First)
We operate with an AI-first mindset. In this role, you are expected to:
- •Actively use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools in your daily workflow
- •Leverage AI for writing specs, analyzing data, synthesizing feedback, and prototyping ideas
- •Continuously improve how you work by incorporating AI into your processes
The strongest candidates will already be leveraging AI tools regularly to accelerate product thinking, execution, and collaboration.
